Hi guys, long time no see.

I'm looking at what a guy says is a left handed J Series 30.06. Will this barreled action drop right in to a stock that was purchased for a J series 243 rifle?

Probably not. The .243 would likely have been a Gen 1 short-action with 4.522" screw spacing. The .30-06 is a long-action and will have the 5.062" screw spacing.
