Savage Axis 2 scope bases

So Ive been trying to find a new scope base for my rifle. I bought a new Vortex Diamondback Tactical with rings but the scope base is too long for it. The Bushnell Sharpshooter fits fine. Are the 10/110 bases the same as the Axis 2 bases. Any help here would be great. Thanks. I would show the picture but because I am a new member I cannot .

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "too long". Have you looked at the two piece bases? One piece 10/110 bases will not fit the Axis.

Try a quick search on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=scope+mount+for+savage+axis) So the gun has a 2 piece base already installed. Im looking for a solid 1 piece base that will fit.

Yep, had the same problem when I bought a Diamondback for my Axis. Weaver rail was my choice as well and it has held up nicely.
