Rough Tooling Marks Inside Receiver on 220F

New to the forum and have some questions

Is this normal for the 220 to have this much rough tooling marks inside the receiver? It seems very excessive to me the bolt feels and sounds rough as well.

Looks pretty much the same as the 110 Apex Stainless I have in for review right now. Not really rough enough to cause any issues that I can tell, but you could always polish it up with a Dremel using a flex wand and a small buffing bit with a mild abrasive compound.

My 220 was so rough I could barely open the bolt. I just took some small files and went to town on the frames bolt rails. Finished with a stone now it is good. I was shocked they would send something so rough out of the factory.

Just got a 220 this weekend and the bolt is rough. I don't want to use files but did read somewhere that a fine emery cloth can be used to polish the bolt and action. Does this sound like a good idea?
Also disappointed with the plastic magazine. Does anyone make a metal one?

Mine was so rough on the right side bolt rail I had to switch to a file. There was one almost like a notch sticking up that would not let the bolt travel all the way back. And several other marks that looked like whatever tool was cutting the race was jumping up and down the whole way down the right side.

Just got it back from Savage after almost 2 months and it says on the receipt they replaced the barrel?

Receiver still looks like this and the barrel is dirty

Called Savage and they said there actions are rougher.

When I told them my $150 Savage Mark 2 has a much smoother action with no tooling so I would expect a $550 Savage 220 to at the very minimum match the quality of a $150 gun.
