What would the 6.5 Creedmoor Predator contour be the equivalent of in say a barrel from McGowen or Criterion?

Thanks in advance!

IIRC the Predator barrels are around 0.675" or 0.700" at the muzzle so you can use that for comparison on their contour charts. Standard 22 and 24" sporter barrels typically measure around 0.580-0.590" for comparison.

The Predator contour is .750 at the muzzle, utilizing the same compound taper found on sporters. Most barrel makers do not have numbered profile that matches, so you will have to ask specifically for a Savage Predator profile.

.700 or .750 at the muzzle is the heavy sporter or Light Varmint in Criterion Profile.
