I just purchased this rifle with a heavy barrel but cant seem to find it on Savages website? Is this because its a Walmart only rifle?

Yes, those were a special run. I know Cabela's got some, appears Walmart did to.

The heavy barrel axis is available from several places, not just walmart. I have bought several guns from this place, and I'm sure I'll be buying more.

Do any of you guys know where I can find 10 round mags for these rifles? I cant seem to find a mag to fit it.

There are none by any of the major mfgs. It takes the standard Axis magazine. There is a guy who makes them up in limited quantities but I don't have his web info.

I posted pics of mine with a boyds stock and bottom metal. It was a great shooter out of the box. Got to pillar bed the boyds though.
