Does anyone make a heavy recoil lug that will fit a stock designed for using the accustock lugs? I bought a Savage chassis for a rifle without realizing that it requires the shorter lug. I know I can have the lug area milled, but wanted to see if anyone makes a correct lug before I go that route. I have one on order from Sin Arms, but I am afraid it may never actually get sent to me since I can't get a response from them.

I have never seen one. I made one using the original as a pattern. You must have access to a mill to do it right. What cartridge are you working on where you need a thicker recoil lug, or do you just want a flat one.https://media.mwstatic.com/product-images/880x660/Primary/238/238465.jpg

You are better off milling the stock to fit a standard lug that has been shortened from the bottom. The parallel sides made the acculug weak and it will bend. I've seen 1/4" thick acculugs in the 110 BA that were actually bent. The lugs with tapered sides have more material and resist the recoil force better.

I do have access to a mill. It seems like I will be better off milling the chassis to fit the lug. It is a 6.5-284. I just prefer the thicker, flat lugs to factory lugs.
