23D scope bases

I have a 23D in 22 K Hornet. I'm trying to find a one piece base that will allow me to move the scope farther back. I have offset rings but because of how far apart the rifle is drilled and tapped I have a problem with today's shorter length scopes not being able to move back and give proper eye relief without hitting the bell. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Where is it D&T'd, on the side for a Weaver mount or on the top?

They never came factory D&T'd.
