Cil model 607( savage model 67)

I have a chance to buy a CIL model 607 3" mag which was made for CIL by savage arms , it looks alot different than all the other 607s and savage model 67s i have seen. it doesn't have the rounded trigger guard it looks more like a mossberg 500 . I'm trying to find out if i can shoot steel shot out of it before i purchase it as there are no places locally i can buy 3" lead shot shells. i believe its an 80's gun

Where abouts are you that nobody carries lead shot shells?

nova scotia , the canadian tires have them rarely in 3" but they sell out so fast

Hard stop. Are youse Candians tellins me that youse don'ts haves to hunts waterfowl with steel shots?

No we gotta use steel on geese and ducks but grouse and turkey we can still use lead.
