Hi All,
I知 new to this forum. I am purchasing a Savage Model 99 from a friend and I知 looking to determine its date of manufacture. I reviewed some of the other threads on this subject and from what I can see, the gun was manufactured in 1954. Just to be sure, I wanted to post part of the serial number and the lever code.
Savage 99 serial # 7558XX. Lever code 3F
The rifle is in great condition and has a bullet counter and according to my friend, it has a schnabel foregrip.
