New member to the forum, but have used it quite a bit for research. I decided to join so I could say thank you and participate even more. This forum has been a great help to me already and is a valuable source of information regarding all things Savage.
I'm an FFL in a small town (100 people) out in the middle of the national forest and right next to the Canadian border. Recently I decided to take the Savage plunge for some of my own personal rifles. I really like how you can find 20 year old 110s and 111s in great shape for under $300 and have a good selection of parts availability and ease of modifications.
We are mostly hunters around here, although some are starting to get into long range target shooting.
I'm a fan of pretty much all cartridges, but the 6.5 Grendel and 308 hold a soft spot for me.
