Iver Johnson 10mm, eagle XL 6 inch ported barrel.

Looking to purchase a hunting 10mm, any of you guys got real world experience with this 10mm. Iver Johnson 10mm 6inch ported barrel retails for about $725.00

I harvested 3 deer this year with a 45acp - all close shots. I have also used a 44mag desert eagle(borrowed) which I liked very much. Before IA opened up our gun selection I would have leaned towards a 44mag. Cheaper to shoot than a 10mm and more power. Also its easier to find 44, I realize you will probably reload your 10mm but I have yet to find an empty case while hunting.

P.S. I hate hunting with ported barrels unless you like wearing earmuffs all day.
