I settled on .260 Rem for my 1st build. The action I picked up was on a 111 FCNS in 300 Win Mag. I need to swap out the DBM to what to accomidate a .260? One setup for a 30-06? I tried bending the original mag lips but they have resisted everything I have tried. I think the indentations savage puts into the sides make them the hardest known metal to man! Not being able to bend them should I use a 30-06 mag? Any ideas on how to bend the lips?
