The stock is a Boyd's Featherweight in their Pepper color. The rear pillar is hard brass and the front is 6061-t6 aluminum machined right onto a new mag catch. Second bedding job ever, first time on a centerfire, it met my expectations. I have yet to try it yet as I don't like to do any unnecessary shooting in freezing temps.

Looks Like J&B Weld. Could be Devcon if not JB.

It's JB, wasn't willing to pay almost $50 for a pound of devcon for just 1-2 jobs. Thanks for reposting pics and for the kind words, I am going to get a tilting bipod next for the convenience, I also have a model 1907 sling that I have been using for it that works really well.

I've only used JB Weld myself. It worked for me.

great looking rifle. Where did you get the cheek riser ?

I made it, it's a strip of foam sleeping mat wrapped in a product a friend uses for horses called Vetrap, it's a 3M product. I couldn't find any commercial ones that fit this particular style stock well. Works great and cost me about $1 as I already had a sleeping mat, that's still fully functional with a 2" strip missing :p
