I have a Savage 111 7mm mag with a blind mag. I recently purchased a new stock from Boyd's. I want to convert from a blind mag to either a detachable mag or a hinged floor plate. I cannot find ANY parts to convert it. I've searched every parts website on Earth. My gunsmith has also had no luck. Are the model 110 parts compatible for the swap? Secondly, does anybody have any contacts or resources to help me with my build? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Call Savage Arms to order the parts you need. They will ask for serial number of rifle. Hopefully you have a center feed action (Blind mag stays with stock when removed). If so, you will need a LA DBM or HFP frame assembly, magazine bottom cap and short front DBM stock screw. You won’t be able to convert a staggerfeed action (mag box attached to action with stock removed).

I'm honestly not sure the difference between a blind/staggered feed. From what everybody says Savage no longer sells model 111 parts? This gun was made in 2003-2004

Personally I would go with a HFP. DBM is just not worth the hassle in a stagger feed. Check Numrich https://www.gunpartscorp.com (https://www.gunpartscorp.com/) for parts.
