Savage edge

So I have a savage edge in 22-250. When ejecting a round fired or not it doesn't throw it from the gun unless you work the bolt very fast and hard.
I replaced the spring and extractor but it still doesn't work right.even the one that is supposed to push it out of the bolt head, when I push down on the button in the end of the bolt it feels like it's very rough inside, should I run a small drill down it to clean it up?.

Have you replaced your bolt handle? If so it's most likely a primary extraction issue, the primary extraction ramp is on the bolt handle on the savage axis so I assume it's the same for the edge.
