Just bought a Stevens Mod 86 D with no serial # cant find any info anywhere was refered to this site any help will be greatly appriecated!!!

"No serial number" usually means it's an older 22, before the Gun Control Act of 1968, if I remember correctly. Some makers put serial #s on though not required, but others didn't until the laws changed.
