I looked in the FAQ and didn't see anything regarding the "swichability" of stagger feed and center feed stocks. I want to put stagger feed metal into a center feed stock. Both are blind mags. Will this work without a lot of wood removal??

You will need to remove some material when installing a stagger feed action into a center feed stock. I can't say how much as I have not performed this task before. Other have and they posted threads about the specifics. Just make sure the action screw spacing is correct.

I've used a LA Center feed Boyd's stock on my Staggered feed action when I built my 6.5-06. Long actions have the same action bolt spacing,so all you need to modify is the mag inlet at the front.
It needs to be lengthened about a 1/4" in order to be long enough for the staggered feed magazine box to fit into the stock. I just used wood chisel's and a Dremel tool on mine.
