Building a 6MMBR Norma on a old 12 22-250 I no longer shoot much.

Barrel will probably be ordered from NSS

Like the looks and cost of the stock from SSS, but it says its "Inlet for Varmint-weight barrel contour"

Any body using this stock what contours have you gotten into it. Any bigger than the Varmint contour?

Was thinking 26" long, Criterion Varmint contour for 100-300 yard shoots

I would email Lisa at SSS and question her about the largest diameter barrel that you can use with their stock. I have their LVT stock and I love it. I spec'd the rifle out for a bull contour 1" in diameter barrel.

A person can open up the barrel channel quite easily with a socket wrapped in sand paper. Start with 120 grit. This process only takes a few minutes. FYI you might be waiting a while for Fred , I've heard 15 months!

It took 19 months to get my stock from SSS. Would not do it again.

Mine is sitting right next to me. Definitely channeled for a Bull Barrel 1"
