Is the Savage MSR lower a good platform for Grendel build

Hi Guys, i am new to the AR15 world and recently got a MSR Valkyrie, i want to also get a Grendel platform and just wanted to get the advice of those of you
that have seen better lowers than i have if i can or should use the Savage MSR lower.

I can't imagine why it wouldn't. Grendel is the same length as the 223 and valkyrie if I'm not mistaken.
