Hello. Just joined and my first visit will be a ?
I have a 11fns and am wanting an original savage wood stock to replace the plastic one.
Do the 11fns and 11gns have the same spacing on the action screws? Would the stocks be interchangeable?
I called Savage and got a part # for the wood stock but want to make sure it will fit before ordering.
The rifle is blind magazine and has the 4.275" spacing and center magazine not staggered.
I appreciate any help I can get on this.

If the stock is for an older staggered feed model then yes, the screw spacing will be the same. However, I doubt anything Savage currently has on the shelf will fit your rifle as they short-actions haven't used that screw spacing in 15+ years now and anything they have will most likely be for the newer 4.40" screw spacing short actions. Savage sold most of it's "leftover" staggered-feed parts to Numrich's Gun Parts several years back so if the Savage stock is a no-go you might try them for one.
