My dad just sent his model 311E 16ga double barrel home with me. It was originally his step dad's. I have a wide variety of guns that I am searching any and all information on this just being one of those.
I need help breaking down the serial m, A281566

There is no breakdown of the serial number other than the date it was made. It's just a sequential number..

Greetings, I recently acquired my first Savage rifle. It is a Model 29 pump action 22 rifle. It has an octagon barrel, was manufactured in Utica N.Y., and has serial number " 3370 ". I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of finding out any information on this rifle, such as manufacturing date. Thanks, Mike
