Savage Model 10 10rd Magazine Conversion

Quick question

i have a savage model 10 flp in .308
It has the blind internal magazine
i know they sell a conversion to have a detachable box magazine.

i wanna upgrade the whole rifle chassis to http://xlrindustries.com/

they com with a new trigger gaurd and mag release - and are made to use a box magazine

so can i just buy the chassis and new magazines and it will work?

Just make sure to order one with screw spacing that matches your rifles screw spacing.
