I can shoot 1/4" 3 or 5 shot groups but am working on consistency by shooting 50 to 100 shot groups. Big groups really tell the tale on how consistent you are especially with numerous mag changes. Here is what I did today using the bed of my truck as a prone platform. Shooting off of a bipod with Caldwell rear bag. I had 1 BAD pull and 2 true fliers. The rest is my inconsistency. This was with CCI sv ammo.

I need(ha) a bolt action 22lr. What distance? This was just 50 yards. It is the least I shoot, where I am zeroed and the most I can shoot in my backyard.

Best in my BVTSS RJ is Eley Club followed by Wolf Target Match. Rifle right out of the box $50 Bariska 8-24x50. 1/2" 50yds all day long and plenty of better ones. Fed AutoMatch is good except for the fliers which happen frequently. I can feel them when they go off. I need to put them on the Chronotach now that I've got it set up in the barn semi-permanent. Might be too cool tomorrow, hardly above freezing.
