Never done this before, so hope I don't piss anyone off by breaking any forum rules. Shooter, collector, and hunter most of my life since age 13 and now in late 60's. Military history major, served in USMC 1972 to 1993. Love .22's, especially military and classics such as Winchester, Remington, Stevens, Marlins. Amateur gun hobbyist restoring old firearms and building black powder firearms. Have one Savage at this time, a 1899 H in .22 H.P. Take Down Featherweight Carbine, Serial number 126871 made in 1912 which is disassembled and stripped down in parts, straight stock is bleached, got it in trade because someone owed me money, but I will restore it to original condition, will need some minor parts such as screws for the various parts. Had a previous Savage 99 in .300 Savage that I should have kept but allowed an overly aggressive buyer to steal it from me. Anyone hunt in Southeast Texas and want to trade info?
