"MARCH" scope ???

anyone heard of a March scope. I saw one this weekend.

What's your thought on this one????

I have read, heard about, and seen exactly one. Very clear, very nice adjustments.

It does not negate the cross wind @ the range, or adjust your bullet seating depth. When it can auto-compensate and make every bullet go into a zero-group...then I'll spend almost 2K on a scope (I have the $$).

You see them for sale (used) on the benchrest.com board all the time. Why are these guys all wanting to part w/ the March?

Mah 4 Weaver 36X scopes work just fine!

They probably had to sell ALL their other shooting stuff to buy one! Now, they want the rest of their stuff back. 2K for a March sounds cheap, must be for their smallest one.

Most of the Marches for sale are the fixed 50X.
These work fine some days. Get some mirage going and you soon want something else ;D
March came out with the 38X-55X for this reason. They even have one that goes to 80X :o

Considered the finest scope on the market today.

I saw my first March scope at the Hamden Fish & Game Perserve in Ct two months ago. An older gentleman built his rifle from the ground up. It was a 22 caliber Russian he told me. The barrel was engraved with his last name and home town. The rifle had an extremely wide forearm which he said he had made for benchrest shooting. I did some hard looking for info and only found one web site that spoke of the technical innovations used internally. They claim that the March scope is the only scope produced where the parallax does not change as the power setting is changed. He said his scope was around $2400. This guy was a serious target shooter and has built several special purpose target rifles always looking for the perfect caliber he said. Must be nice I thought. Sure was a magnificent looking rifle all shinny polished stainless barrel, action and bolt with a big reddish light brown stock.
