Savage short action shank size

I am looking to build a 6.5 prc . I am trying to take advantage of the x caliber sale today. I haven’t bought my action yet so I don’t know a shank size. I know getting the cart in front of the horse but at 45% off it is hard to pass up. Did they make any short actions in large shank?

Yes. All of the Precision Target actions are large shank, which includes the actions used on the LRPV, F-Class, Benchrest, F-TR and Palma rifles.

Also, any Savage that left the factory chambered for a RSAUM or WSM cartridge will have a large shank action.
