I used to be a Member many many moons ago during Savageshooters infancy. I tried getting into my old account but it was a nogo so here I am with a new one! What got me back was a Frankenstein rifle I am building. and I am looking for some guidance.
Started with a 10BA Stealth in 6.5CM, sold the chassis. got a 12 VLP with a DBM open bottom and a factory Savage DBM out of a accustock. bolt pattern is 4.4" the issue is the DBM metal is not sitting deep enough in the stock and it appears I can fix ti by just removing one shelf of material.
