I was very tired of getting cut on my magazine in competitions when I was in hurry on my Mk II mags. Could not find any rubber boots or slippers for the mags... I make kydex holsters, thought maybe this would work. See picture.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/nYNWRnzxrE1YjrkXAYour mileage my vary, but it pretty easy, heat up a piece of kydex, fold it over, put under a foam press or a couple of pieces of form with some weight on it, then cut/disk/belt sand material away that you don't want. I then used a buffer wheel to smooth out/shine up the edges.
