I got the Athlon Midas tac 6x24x50 wed, had it out today, i will say it's quite the scope, the dot is perfect for target shooting,glass is every bit as equal as the Sightron, might be a hair brighter.

I see you have already decided on a scope but me throw in the new Vortex Diamondback 6-24x50 FFP. It's a LOT of scope for $360. I don't know how the glass compares to what you have but I was easily banging 600 yard targets with my .223 the other day.
