If I take the stock off my Savage MK II to adjust the trigger do I need to torque them when putting the stock back on ?
I should have said action screws.

I know there are recommended torque settings for the 10/110 series.

Do a search for “torque for action screws in Savage MK II” and see what pops up.

Sounds like 15 in-lb would be a nice middle of the road for Savage rimfire rifles. Centerfire stocks might see twice or almost three times that much per the references I found.

Torque the front screw first and then the rear. I have found mine to be more accurate with the rear svrew not as right as the front. Your rifle may react differently.
