Took the vortex back and ordered an Athlon argos btr 6-24x50. Got it today, mounted and sighted in. I am in love with this scope. It is much clearer and has more features than scopes costing twice as much.

Well, I couldn't find a muzzle brake like i wanted so i made one today. Yes, I know the holes aren't perfect but trying to put them in, on an angle, on a table top drill press is asking a lot. If I had a mill and endmill, they would have been a lot better. It works rather well though.

Good afternoon all. New member here. From North Central Al. I do have a MK II FV-SR with a Boyd's Pro Varmint Stock. I just Thursday afternoon placed an order to Boyds for a new At One Stock for my NIB Mk II . So now, i'm waiting for my stock and a scope that i've ordered to arrive. I know that this was not a direct answer to your question. Just wanted to say hi to everyone.
