Found this site while trying to ID an old Savage rifle that I inherited from my Dad. Savages are the best rifles going!!!!!
It is a .22 bolt action clip fed rifle with a silencer and is missing the magazine. I do not what model it is so I can order a clip from Numrich Arms.
The only markings are on the barrel that say :

"Manufactured by Savage Arms Utica NY USA
Patented November 28, 1905, Sep 7, 1915, Sep 4, 1917, Nov. 20,1917"

Does anyone recognize this model please?
Thanks.

Welcome to the site.

I would recommend asking your question down in the Vintage Savage's Rimfire board where the more knowledgeable guys will see it. That said, the provided info really doesn't tell us much about the rifle other than it was made in 1946 or earlier due to the Utica roll stamp. Without seeing it I would guess it's probably a Model 19 or a Model 23, both of which use the same magazine. You can do a Google search for those two models to see pics to compare to what you have.

May all of your mud drums, soot blowers, skins and tubes be in good shape.
