Been meaning to get around to saying 'Hey' for bit now. I figured I should introduce myself before I started posting, or turning targets into the monthly shooting competition. So here it is... 'Hey!'
We just got our first Savage a couple of months ago, and we still haven't shot 'Ol' Bullwinkle' yet, but we are fixing to soon. Our 'Bullwinkle' is a BA Stealth Evolution in 6.5 Creedmoor. We tend to be 30-30/30-06/308/7-08/5.56 kind of folks so neither the Wife or I have shot a Creedmoor yet and we both are looking forward to it.
Maybe I am kind of a perfectionist; but Bullwinkle just didn't come to us in a ready to shoot condition, at least not as far as I was concerned. He needed some work just to get him where we could get our shoot on. I couldn't mount the scopes we wanted, the grip was really uncomfortable especially prone, neither one of us could get a proper cheek weld, or the prone LOP right for me. Oh yeah, and he didn't fold...
No worries he is alright now, I will post what all we did to fix him and a photo or 2 sometime next week, maybe by then we each can post a target in the monthly shooting competition too.
