Wife's first deer [Archive]

Wife harvested her first deer today. Nice big doe at about 200 yards.

Rifle is her target gun but it's what she is most comfortable shooting so that is what she used. Stevens action with a Shilen 1:8 26" barrel shooting a 100grn Sierra Game King over 35.5grns of IMR4064.

One shot dropped her doe like a rock, great bullet, great gun, great shooting.

Good looking doe. Dosen't look like she is the one processing the deer though. :D
