Stevens 87a issue

Bought 2 87a's off that auction site and the first of 2 arrived a few days ago. Went out behind the house to do a 5 round test fire and got nothing but click. My guess would be a broken firing pin as having it apart the pin doesn't go past the bolt.

I'm also not sure if it is supposed take some pressure or a slap to lock the bolt for single shot use. I have the band extractors and it looks like it may not be going to full battery to cause me the issue of having to slap it.

I've got 2 311 double barrels that were in my family and my wife has a lefthanded 93r17.

After swapping bolts from the one known to work to the one in question it fired with no issues. The firing pins appear the same length and same type. I was looking closer and it appears the band extractors won't go into the notches in the barrel. Were there different barrels made for the band extractors?
