View Full Version : Anyone know if Savage will bring the Tactical 110 Lefty out in 6.5 or 6mm Creed?

The 110 Tactical Desert is in both, but only right handed. Will Savage expand the left handed line since the barrel swap seems easy for a gunsmith?

The standard 110 Tactical Lefty is in 308. However, a good after market barrel almost doubles the cost of the rifle. That's why I was hoping for a factory build, to keep the cost down.

Call Savage Custom Shop I'm sure they can help you out.

That was my first complaint to my contact at Savage when I first glanced over the new 110 models list last December, "Where's the 110 Tactical LH in 6.5 Creed?" The answer I got was "We can only offer so many new SKU's per year."

As hot as the 6.5 Creedmoor is I can't imaging they won't be adding it as an option to the 110 Tactical LH this coming year. The 6mm Creedmoor I doubt we'll see in a lefty unless it really takes off, but from what I've seen so far it hasn't gained a lot of traction yet.

Talked to the wonderful lady at Savage, a semi-custom would just be a couple hundred bucks more, MSRP. Not sure what the FFL will charge me. 6MM Creedmore is the darling of many in PRS and Savage already has the set up since the Desert Tactical is in it.

Saving my pennies...
