Hi everyone.
I am looking for a 6,5-284 savage. Mi gunsmigh has a new Savage Long Range Hunter, and a good friend offer me his Predator Max 1. Both of them chambered in 6,5-284. The used one has not a lot of rounds fired, maybe around 100 rounds. He doesnt reload. Leaving aside prices...can you tell me pros and cons of either gun? Both of them are a bit heavy for my taste, but everybody know that for lon range hunting the weight is a must.
I would thank any input

I had a Predator Max 1 lefty. It was a good shooter. The weak point was the stock, specifically the floppy forearm. Great off bags, not great with a bipod.

I don’t know anything about the LR Hunter.

Yes. The fact is that both guns share some things: weight, long range hunting design, accutrigger, accustock...but they have some differences also: the LRH has a longer barrel, brake, and the predator has an entirely floated barrel while the LRH the stock touchs the barrel at the forehand.
And I wonder which is the best for long range hunting.
