Hi , Came across a 99 levergun for a low cost in .308, did some research, now its mine.

This looks like the place to be. Its a 99E in .308 probably 50 years old. Reasonable used shape 6or7 of 10. $300 with a Banner2 scope mounted.

Welcome from central Maryland as well. Nice looking rifle.

I guess the only thing positive I can say about MD gun laws is that we are not as bad as California or NJ yet. (But we are trying real hard)

All the BS and fingerprinting and fees me and my wife paid could have bought a defensive shotgun and not bothered with classes. ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY FOR THE STATE. Rant over. Long arms are so much less trouble to buy, for now. Getting a safe next. Thinking 22 to 30 gun size should be fine for me.
