I'm a new first time Savage owner. I recently bought an Axis II in .223 and it's my first bolt action. I can't wait to do some learning, a few upgrades, and explore this new (to me) type of shooting.
I have several handguns, shotguns, and semi-auto rifles of various makes so I am not new to shooting, just to bolt actions, and to Savage.
I consider myself a good, natural, shooter and someday hope to test myself in competition. Unfortunately where I live now that's not likely.
I am relocating soon and hope to get involved.
