I finally figured the mystery of my large shank, single shot, long action Ultra Mag

It's not a long action. I bought it here, not knowing one Savage action from another. I've been wanting another, to build a .264 Win Mag. I just had no luck at all finding a long, single shot, magnum action (belted magnum, not Lapua). Today I compared it to a Savage 7mm Remington Magnum. The Remington Ultra Magnum was a rebarrel on a short action and the factory 7mmRM is a long action.

I'll just look for a short magnum single shot for the 264 I want to build.
