I don't know what it is. I have the Max 1 model. I can't tell if it is a spray on type coating or some kind of thin film from being dipped or what. I see a seam in it so guess it is a thin film that has been adhered to the stock.

I just got the mossy oak brush model, didn't get an owners manual, and I'm wondering how to care for the finnish. Or can I just clean it like anyother firearm?

If it's anything like the camo coating (a dip I believe) that they put on waterfowl shotguns, it should be impervious to pretty much everything.
