Just wondering what people were using and where they got their muzzle brakes for the Stealth 10BA...

I assume the muzzle threads are standard 5/8 x 24 - is that correct?

Thanks!

Patriot Valley Arms makes a great brake in the Jet Blast. Easily installed and works great.

Ross Schuler makes a very good brake for a very good price.

I would recommend the Precision Armament M4-72. I have this brake on my Stealth 10 BA 308. 5/8 x 24 is correct. Cost is about $100. I would also suggest putting a drop of Blue Lock Tite on the threads. Just make sure you do not use Red. Hope this helps.

Area 419 works great and can be removed in minutes and reinstalled in minutes....by hand.

Thanks, guys, for the info!

I went ahead and ordered a shockwave from Patriot Valley since it was the only thing they had in 6.5 with the proper thread pitch.

I did try an AR Stoner .308 Muzzle Brake. on this rifle..it did reduce the felt recoil considerably. Unfortunately, it also opened up my groups!

You didn't need a 6.5 specific brake. A .30 from PVA would have worked fine. Not a big deal as the shockwave will work great but just for future reference.
