Stevens actioned .243 with a 1:8 Shilen shoots the heavier bullets beautifully.
Would like to work up a long range pd/coyote round. How lite of a bullet will this barrel shoot well?
Tried some 75grn V-Maxs and they wouldn't group under 2-3" at 225. (wife's 100grn hunting load groups in the .6s at same range)
Looking at the 87grn V-Max, anyone having any luck in a similar barrel?
