Hello Folks,

I can't say I'm a new Savage shooter (or even a new shooter for that matter) but I am working on a Savage Model 111 Long Range Hunter.
The rifle is chambered in the 7mm Remington Magnum and has the drop bottom, hinged floor plate (no box magazine). It also has the "adjustable" comb piece with two slots cut into the molded cheek piece.
I have started creating loads for this rifle.

I have seen in new advertisements the LR Hunter will now be offered with the AccuFit stock which looks like a more professional setup from the get go.
I have also read the new LR Hunters are based on the 110 model action.
I am wondering if the 111 AccuStock will be interchangeable with the 110 AccuFit stocks!

Savage has gone and mixed it up. For the most part the short action cartridge actions fit the short action stocks and the long action cartridges will fit the long action stocks. Yours is a long action and requires a long action stock.
