just ordered stealth evolution 308

Just ordered Stealth Evolution 308 20 " 10 twist replacing 10 FCP -SR 308 with 24 " criterion 10 twist barrel . I was getting 2650 FPS with 175 gr nos CC and 44.0 gr varget. I wonder how much velocity I will lose with a 4 " shorter barrel ?
I want to stay at 2650 FPS to match the Primary Arms 4-14x44mm ACSS HUD 223 / 308 BDC reticle . I got to crono the load I was using, but it's hard to get the crono set up at the range I belong to without intruding on other shooter's time , they won't let me set up before starting time .
I can't wait to take it to the range .

How often do you use that reticle at extended ranges?

i haven't yet , but i plan on joining a range where I can shoot out to 600 yards . I do plan on working up an accuracy load also .
As far as reaching the 2650 FPS I estimating it will take aprox 44.3 gr of Varget with the 20 " barrel . I don't have any pressure signs at 44.0 gr . , but i will have to work up the new load starting at a lower charge and work up with the new rifle . I'm using Winchester brass and Winchester Lg rifle primers .

I'm going to need higher rings for the Stealth Evolution . Does anyone have suggestions ? The scope has a 30mm tube . Should i use steel or aluminum rings ? I'm looking for good rings that won't break the bank . I don't like real thick bulky ones.
