does anyone know if a axis boyds 22 250 stock will fit a 223 axis?selling mine and a guy want to buy it for his 223 but I told him that I think the 223 is long action.just making sure.thanks

All axis receviers are the same length, the diff. is in the the trigger guard & mag
all stocks are the same

.223 and 300 AAC are short.

Any caliber that uses the short magazine.

Or you can use that stock and buy the long action trigger guard for the axis and it will fit the remaining calibers.

I don't know if this helps, but I contacted Boyd when ordering the right stock for my Axis, and this was there reply. I don't know if this what you need to help I hope so, if not call them

From Customer service:
You will need to go by the caliber to make sure you select the correct action. However from the picture you show it looks like you have selected the correct option for what you are looking for.


Long Action
7mm, 25-06, 30-06, 270


Short Action
22-250, 223, 308, 243, 6.5 creedmoor, 7mm-08
