I recently bought a 300 Win Mag 111 that has a broken firing pin. Brownells and Midway neither have the part, nor does gunpartscorp. Savage wants a dealers license to purchase a firing pin, don't get that but it is their company and the scrutiny is tough. Anyone know where I can get a small pin?

Thanks,

Scott

Hmmmm. I just bought one of these about 2 months ago.
I'd keep checking eBay.

Wish I would have gotten another one just for insurance now.

Unless something has changed at Savage, all you have to do is sign a waiver of Liability and they'll sell you all the firing pins you want. I bought 6 after signing a waiver, but that was about two years ago now. I needed to hand pick a better fit to the bolt head to stop the cratering and blanking.
