Looking on Ebay I saw a bunch of Zeiss scopes made in China,Hong Kong and other places. Are these fakes? How do they getaway with doing fakes! I like zeiss scopes myself but its been awhile since I bought one.

Who would doubt a $62 Zeiss scope? Here is a warning from 2015.

So why does ebaY still allow them. Watch out for Amazon, too.

I'm surprised they haven't given in yet and stopped selling gun related stuff altogether. Everybody knows you have to have a 6-30x56 on your black "assault rifle".

Knock-off Chinese Leupold's are also commonly found on Ebay, and probably Amazon now as well since they have opened their flood gates and pay little attention to what sellers are doing there anymore. Then again, I guess if you're dumb enough to think you can buy a brand new scope from either maker for 1/10th the typical price you probably deserve to get ripped off because you need to be taught that lesson.

2 thoughts here.
First is idiots that think they really are buying a real Zeiss or Leupold scope for a fraction of the price from some commie shipdit in China. Pay stupid prices, win stupid prizes.
or
People buying Chinese knockoffs to put on their rifles to get more out of them when they sell them at gun shows or Armslist to unsuspecting buyers.

ETA: Sleezebay and Crapazon (which no longer sells almost anything AR15 related) get their fees and commissions. Why should they care? They certainly would not want to PO the Chicoms.
