I have not talk to them yet but maybe some of you know. Does Criterion make barrels for a Axis?

The model 10-16 and 110-116 all have the same barrel tenon as the Axis. So the answer is yes. Small (1.062) diameter thread only.

Thanks Robinhood. Still dont know which brand yet. So many choices but Im leaning toward Criterion.

I only have 1 but it shoots great and cleans easy. Go for it.

Check out Jim from Apache gun works. He threads and chambers some fine barrels for savage and remington actions. Cheaper than a criterion barrel also

The only other pre fit barrels I would consider other than Criterion would be Shilen and X-caliber (apache gun works). I am a CBI guy as I have 3 of them now... All shoot extremely well. CBI used to be the OEM side of the Krieger factory.

Tough to beat a KRIEGER...
