I modified my .17 WSM bolt so it stays up when pulled back. I made a locking device in the bolt end to prevent it from going down too soon and damaging the stock and a new polished steel end cap. The locking device is released when the bolt is pushed all the way forward allowing it to go down. I also added a new bolt handle and trigger guard.
